Cooking fish can be so difficult. Pan fried, Steam is boring too. How about a Ceviche for today. It’s a “no cook” healthy, simple yet tasty dish from Central and South America.

Authentic fish ceviche is prepared with ultra-fresh fish. Unless you are 100% confident about its origin and when the fish was caught, you’re safer with the frozen fish choice. You can use tilapia, grouper, snapper, seabass, salmon, trout, or tuna to name a few. There are many recipes out there, here is our favorite one. For this one below, we chose tilapia fish as it contains fewer calories.

Tilapia – 350g
1/3 cup Lime Juice
1/3 cup Orange or Lemon Juice
1 Mango ripe – diced
1 small red Onion – diced
1/4 bunch Coriander – chopped
1 Avocado – diced last
1 Chili padi or less – chopped

To thaw your frozen fish safely, place the fish in the fridge overnight.
Remove skin if any, debone, rinse, dry, and cut into small cubes.
Combine with the citrus juice, leave 10-15min in the fridge.
Mix with the rest of the ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. And Enjoy with chips or on its own.
